- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, diced
- 16 oz pasta sauce
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 lbs packaged tortellini
- 1 tbsp garlic parsley salt
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 2 cups spinach, chopped
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook the tortellini until just shy of al dente (about 2 minutes less than package instructions) as they’ll continue cooking in the oven.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Brown for about 5 minutes until no longer pink.
- Add the diced onion to the beef and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Toss in the diced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the pasta sauce and whipping cream, stirring to combine. Add the garlic parsley salt and dried parsley, then bring the mixture to a gentle simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Fold in the chopped spinach and allow it to wilt into the sauce. The sauce might look quite liquid at this point, but don’t worry – it will thicken beautifully during baking.
- Drain the tortellini and add it to the sauce, gently folding everything together until the pasta is well coated. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese evenly over the top and bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the cheese forms a golden crust.
- Let the bake rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Feel free to substitute the ground beef with ground turkey or a plant-based alternative for a lighter option.
