A delicious roast beef sandwich served with homemade au jus for dipping.

- 8 oz thinly sliced roast beef
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the Au Jus: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Heat until aromatic.
- Sauté the Beef: Add the roast beef to the au jus mixture for about 2-3 minutes to warm through.
- Assemble the Sandwich: Layer provolone cheese on one slice of sourdough bread, add sautéed roast beef, top with another slice of cheese, then close with another slice of bread.
- Grill: In a skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter and grill the sandwich until golden brown on both sides (about 3-4 minutes per side).
- Serve: Enjoy hot with au jus on the side for dipping.

- Feel free to add your favorite condiments like mustard or mayonnaise for extra flavor.
