- 1–2 jalapeños, diced (optional, for spice)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions
- Let the cream cheese come to room temperature to ensure it melts smoothly without lumps.
- Grate the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses and mix them into the softened cream cheese until fully blended for a creamy, cheesy base.
- Stir in the diced green chiles, tomatoes, jalapeños (if using), garlic powder, and onion powder to bring out bold Mexican flavors.
- Place the mixture in a saucepan over low heat. Stir continuously until all the cheeses are melted and the dip reaches a smooth consistency.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Sprinkle chopped cilantro on top for freshness and color before serving.
