A delicious three-layer cake featuring vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry flavors.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup strawberry jam
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease three round cake pans and line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder. Gradually add to the wet ingredients alternating with milk until smooth.
- Divide the batter into three bowls: leave one plain for vanilla; mix cocoa into another for chocolate; blend strawberry jam into the last for strawberry.
- Pour each batter into its own prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
- Once cooled, layer with frosting between each layer and frost the top as desired.
Notes
- Ensure to cool the layers completely before frosting to prevent melting.
