Description

A quick and delicious beef and broccoli stir fry that is perfect for a weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • Optional: 2 cups cooked rice or noodles

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by washing and chopping broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Mince garlic and grate ginger.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes until no longer pink.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, sautéing for about one minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in chopped broccoli along with soy sauce mixed with cornstarch and sesame oil. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until broccoli is bright green.
  5. Allow the mixture to simmer for another 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens, then serve over rice or noodles if desired.
