Description
A delicious and easy berry trifle made with pound cake, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream.
Ingredients

- 6 cups pound cake cubed
- 3 cups fresh strawberries sliced
- 1 cup mixed berries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Cut pound cake into even bite sized cubes.
- Toss sliced strawberries with granulated sugar and let rest 15 minutes.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Layer cake cubes in trifle bowl and spoon strawberry juices over them.
- Add whipped cream and berries then repeat layers until bowl is full.
- Finish with whipped cream and fresh berries on top.
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving for best texture.
Notes
- For best flavor, use fresh, ripe strawberries and quality pound cake.
