Description

This baked feta pasta is a creamy and flavorful dish that’s easy to prepare, combining the rich taste of feta with fresh tomatoes and basil.


Ingredients

  • 1 block feta cheese
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 10 ounces pasta
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the feta cheese in the center of a baking dish and surround it with cherry tomatoes.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the top, then sprinkle with garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes or until the tomatoes burst and the feta is soft.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  6. Mash the baked feta and tomatoes together, adding the reserved pasta water for a creamy consistency.
  7. Toss the pasta with the feta mixture and garnish with fresh basil.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
