Description

Deliciously easy pita bread pizzas that you can customize with your favorite toppings!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 pita breads
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (or sauce of choice)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, etc.)
  • toppings of choice (e.g., pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, sausage, taco meat, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400℉ (200℃).
  2. Spread a thin layer (about 1-2 tablespoons) of sauce on each pita bread.
  3. Top with an even layer of shredded cheese to cover the sauce.
  4. Add toppings of choice.
  5. Place the assembled pita bread pizzas on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
  7. Remove the pita pizzas from the oven and let them rest for 2-3 minutes before slicing and enjoying.

Notes

  • Experiment with different sauces and toppings to find your favorite combinations!
