- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup limoncello
- 24 savoiardi (ladyfingers)
- 2 fresh lemons (zest and juice)
- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, blend room-temperature mascarpone cheese with granulated sugar until smooth. Gradually add egg yolks, mixing gently.
- Stir in limoncello and lemon zest for flavor.
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into a mix of limoncello and lemon juice, then layer them in a rectangular dish.
- Spread half of the cream mixture over the ladyfingers, then repeat layering until all ingredients are used.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
